Receptionist 70% (f/m/d)

What we are looking for
We are seeking a professional and service-oriented Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, employees and external partners. The successful candidate will ensure a welcoming, efficient, and discreet reception experience while supporting day-to-day administrative and operational tasks in line with the high standards of a Swiss banking environment.
Your responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist clients, visitors, and business partners in a professional and courteous manner
  • Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared accordingly
  • Handle visitor registration and comply with security and access procedures
  • Schedule internal and external meetings
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth front-office operations
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and filing
  • Ensure the reception area is orderly and reflects the bank’s professional image
  • Adhere strictly to confidentiality, data protection, and compliance requirements
Your profile
  • Completed commercial education or equivalent qualification
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in a receptionist, front-office, or hospitality role, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in German and English, French would be a plus 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and modern communication tools
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset
  • Discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility
  • Calm and professional demeanor, even under pressure
  • Service-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Swiss/EU passport or Swiss work permit (mandatory)
  • Residence in the Zurich area

  • Collaboration with all teams and direct exposure to senior management of the Bank 
  • Next to the day-to-day work, the team is involved in various projects for the benefit of the Bank
