Junior Operations Officer

What we are looking for

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented JuniorOperations Officer to join our Middle Office and Data Management Team at TradeXBank AG in Zurich.

This hybrid role primarily focuses on client data-related tasks such as account openings, static data maintenance, and managing client documentation, while also involving trade processing and reconciliation.

Your responsibilities

Data Management:

Data Entry & Validation: Ensure accurate input and verification of client data in the core banking system, in accordance with guidelines from Compliance, Legal, and the Front Office. Responsibilities include supporting client onboarding, offboarding, and static data updates in line with KYC, CDB, and AML standards.
Archiving: Manage physical and electronic archiving of client documents, ensuring data completeness and consistency.
Quality Assurance: Conduct checks to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with standards.
Testing, process improvements, support of team lead in priority projects

Middle Office:

Reconciliation: Perform daily trade and position reconciliation
Collateral Management: Support collateral management, including handling of Margin calls
Lifecycle Management: Monitor and process lifecycle events, including corporate actions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant trade regulations, reporting requirements, and industry standards.
Trade Support: Assist the Trading and Treasury Desk with day-to-day operational queries, including trade capturing, validation, and reconciliation in the relevant systems.

Your profile

Candidates with 3+ years of experience in a similar role of a financial institution
Familiar with KYC/CDB/AML requirements and regulatory reporting (e.g. FINFRAG, CRS)
Good knowledge of FX and derivatives, and Global Markets instruments
Knowledge of Bloomberg TOMS and core banking systems (e.g. Avaloq) is beneficial
Advanced Excel Knowledge
Organized, efficient, able to prioritize under pressure
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Team player with good communication skills
Fluent in German and English
Possess a valid Swiss/EU passport or an applicable Swiss work permit (mandatory)
Entry-level applicants with a strong foundational knowledge are encouraged to apply
