Business Analyst / Project Manager - 100 % (f/m/d)

What we are looking for
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst/Project Manager to drive the analysis and optimization of business processes, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, as well as lead change initiatives within organization. This role includes business ownership of the functionalities and workflows developed by the Bank on the JIRA platform (Atlassian product), with a focus on the Position Keeping and Collateral Management system supporting the tracking of Commodity Trade Finance transactions. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring effective delivery of value-added improvements and operational excellence.
Your responsibilities
Business Analysis and Process Optimization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather and analyse business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and efficiency improvements in banking operations.
  • Develop and propose innovative solutions to enhance operational workflows and system functionalities.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and actionable deliverables for technical teams.
 
Project Management
  • Lead end-to-end project management activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between business and IT teams.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigations.
  • Maintain project documentation, including business cases, project charters, and status reports.
 
JIRA Platform Business Ownership
  • Take ownership of functionalities and workflows developed by the Bank on the JIRA platform with focus on Commodity Trade Finance Position Keeping and Collateral Management system.
  • Manage the implementation of changes and enhancements to the JIRA platform, either independently or with external vendor support.
  • Provide daily support to JIRA users, helping them navigate and utilize the platform efficiently.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports as requested by relevant stakeholders.
  • Utilize BI tools to create customized reports to address stakeholder needs and enhance decision-making. 
Your profile
  • 5+ years business analysis and project management experience in banking or consulting
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Highly accurate, efficient, structured and organized
  • Mathematical mindset with the ability to think in workflows and complex processes
  • Practical knowledge of tools such like JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Tableau
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a liaison between business units and IT
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude and cross-cultural communication skills 
  • Understanding of Commodity Trade Finance business is an advantage
  • Must hold a valid Swiss or EU passport or an applicable Swiss work permit (mandatory)
  • Fluent proficiency in both English and German; additional languages are a plus
